UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM

Are your students preparing for college? Encourage them to take the next step by attending the University of Rochester’s Pre-College Programs. Students will spend the summer taking college-level courses and getting a taste of the college experience.

Your students will join other high school students from around the world, participating in one-week courses, credit courses, or intensive programs in business, engineering, genetics, medicine, or pathology. They can live in a residence hall or commute from home.

Summer course registration is open at UVM. Don't miss this opportunity to help your students enroll in the courses they want/need and take advantage of UVM's 50% tuition savings for out-of-state students.

Our summer pre-college courses provide motivated high school students with 100+opportunities to:
  • Earn college credits
  • Experience campus life (or learn online)
  • Discover a new interest and potential career paths
  • Explore a subject that isn't offered at their high school
  • Gain a competitive advantage when applying to college
Additionally, UVM’s Summer Academy program is open for enrollment for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, providing them with the unique opportunity to earn 3 college credits through intensive 4-week courses (2 weeks on-campus followed by 2 weeks online).

UT COMPUTER SCIENCE SUMMER CAMPS

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin is offering six residential summer camps.  

There are two First Bytes camps and both are free week-long camps geared toward rising sophomore, junior and senior girls (Texas residents);  

Code Longhorn is a free week-long camp geared toward rising underrepresented junior and senior boys and girls (Texas residents);  

Texas Computer Science Robotics Camp is a week-long, fee-based camp geared toward boys and girls entering 9th-12th grades 

 Texas Computer Science Cybersecurity Camp is a week-long, fee-based camp geared toward boys and girls entering 9th-12th grades.  

You don’t have to be a Texas resident to attend these camps.

The deadline for applying to First Bytes and Code Longhorn is Wednesday, March 18.  There are 60 spots in each of the fee-based camps and we will continue to take registrations until those camps are full.

Earn College Credit and Experience Life in Miami this Summer
The University of Miami Summer Scholars Program offers high-achieving high school sophomores and juniors the opportunity to experience college life at a top-research institution and earn six college credits in a variety of academic areas. This exciting three-week program runs from July 4 through July 24, 2020. 
In addition to our traditional three-week program, we have continued our exciting new two-week UM Academy programs as well.  These immersive non-credit career exploration programs are open to high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
Now featuring new programs!  Please explore the academic program for three-week college credit or the UM Academy for two-week non-credit.
 
Scholarship Deadline March 1
Limited Scholarship Opportunities are available in our college credit programs for students who qualify. To be considered, eligible applicants must complete both the Summer Scholars application and the scholarship application and submit supporting documents by the March 1, 2020 deadline. Students who meet the requirements for our need-based scholarship may also qualify for application fee reduction waivers.
